Matt Middleton

BFA Student in Digital Design at University of Colorado – Denver

I am a non-traditional student, returning to school at the University of Colorado – Denver, with a targeted degree in Digital Design. I have already attended Prescott College, studying Outdoor Leadership and Education. My background in the outdoor industry includes experiences on both the retail/equipment side, as well as the recreational side. My time working at REI, Patagonia, Outward Bound, and Movement Climbing Gyms have all helped shape my perspective on the outdoors. As a designer I aim to take these experiences and work to reshape the demographic of outdoor pursuits, bringing more inclusivity and diversity to the activities I love.
